Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her assistance and dedication to improving upon South African Social Security Company (SASSA) companies all through an engagement with all the agency's senior professionals at a strategic organizing session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the many social grant beneficiaries, who excelled within the 2024 matric exams.
Of the 724 156 full-time learners who registered with the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, symbolizing 81% from the registered pupils in the education sector.
These learners obtained a commendable pass rate of 86%.
